A man opens fire in a Kurdish cultural center and kills several people

A 69-year-old man opened fire this Friday, shortly before noon, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, killing at least two people and injuring several others, learns 20 minutes from police sources. According to our information, the facts took place at 16, rue d’Enghien, in Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Cultural Center. At least six people were affected. Four were injured, two of whom are in absolute emergency, and two others were killed.

The suspect was arrested by the police, and a weapon was found at the scene. He was taken into custody. An investigation has been opened into the counts of murder, intentional homicide and aggravated violence, indicates to 20 minutes the Paris prosecutor’s office. The investigations were entrusted to the criminal brigade.

According to our information, the suspect is a man born in March 1953 in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). Of French nationality, this man living in the 2nd arrondissement of the capital is a retired train driver.
