A young man was killed on the morning of this Wednesday, in a warehouse in the airport area of Orly (Val-de-Marne), details news.fr. The victim’s body was discovered around 9:30 a.m. The man, who worked in the cargo area of Orly airport, received at least one stab wound to the carotid artery. The motive for the crime remains unknown to this day.
A policewoman tried to save the young man by compressing his throat, without success. The victim had lost too much blood and died before being taken to hospital.
The police tracked down the assailant shortly after the tragedy. The man had two knives, hidden in the lining of his jacket. One blade was bloody. According to Parisian, the attacker, a heavy consumer of cannabis, suffered from schizophrenia and was placed in compulsory hospitalization. The investigation was entrusted to the departmental service of the judicial police of Val-de-Marne. It will have to establish the man suspected of the attack is judged criminally irresponsible or if he can answer for his actions before an assize court.
