The Mazda was speeding along Friday night. While the traffic was dense on the A84 between Caen and Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), the gendarmes of the Channel had to push their new Alpine to catch up with the motorist who was driving (much too fast). On this portion limited to 110 km / h, this 26-year-old man was checked at 196 km / h by the Channel motorway peloton.
The security forces managed to intercept it “after a few kilometers all the same” report the gendarmes on their facebook page. The latter were even surprised to see that the driver of the Mazda was traveling with his 2 and a half year old son in the back of the car.
The cops have no choice. They must immobilize the vehicle on the spot and suspend the license of the young dad. A decision that is not to the liking of the driver who “refuses” and forces the gendarmes to place him in police custody. The mother was called to pick up the child.
