A man indicted for the murder of Sedan

He was taken to prison after his custody. A 19-year-old man was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention for the murder of a 14-year-old teenager in Saint-Denis on Wednesday, the Bobigny prosecutor’s office announced on Sunday.

Around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday evening, a 14-year-old schoolboy from Saint-Denis, named Sedan, was stabbed to death on the metro platform at the Basilique de Saint-Denis station, on line 13. A resident of the town had presented himself to the police, explaining that he was involved in the death of the minor. “No violence, no revenge,” said Brother Sedan during a tribute to the young victim.

“No link” with the death of another teenager

A second teenager was the victim of a violent death this Friday in this town of Seine-Saint-Denis. He would have been targeted by “a punitive expedition”. Seriously injured during a brawl on Wednesday morning, he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday. “No link seems to exist in the state of the investigations between this murder” and the death of the second teenager, said the public prosecutor of Seine-Saint-Denis, Eric Mathais in a press release.
