A dramatic accident occurred early Saturday afternoon on the Saint-Malo karting circuit in Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes (Ille-et-Vilaine),
report West France. At around 1 p.m., two motorized vehicles driven by a 12-year-old teenager and a 45-year-old man collided. Despite the intervention of the emergency services, the forties died on the spot.
An investigation, entrusted to the gendarmes of the Saint-Malo company, was opened by the prosecution to shed light on this accident. In this context, those responsible for karting will be interviewed as well as witnesses to the accident. The young driver’s kart was also seized.
