What happened this Monday near Île du Ramier, in Toulouse? A little before 7 p.m., twenty-two firefighters, including the water rescue unit of the SDIS of Haute-Garonne, are dispatched to the Jane-et-Roger-Castet route, just below the Saint-Michel bridge. A floating body had been reported in the Garonne, near the green theater on Île du Ramier.
According to Sdis, firefighters were only able to fish out the lifeless body of the victim, a man around 60 years old. An investigation has been opened to establish the circumstances of the death and an autopsy is underway, police confirm.
