A month after its transition to “Ville 30”, Lyon will experience another major change on its roads. As revealed on Tuesday the association 40 million motorists, a hundred new sanction radars will soon be installed in Lyon and its metropolis. A state program will deploy these urban radars around Lyon, while their precise location is not yet defined.
“Criteria linked to accidentology and measured speeds” will determine this choice, specified in Progress the deputy mayor in charge of mobility, Valentin Lungenstrass. Since Monday, and after a first educational month, speeding on axes 30 in Lyon are subject to verbalization.
