A fleeing dealer knocks down a policeman in Paris

This Tuesday, a dealer driving his car fled after a police check in the 15th arrondissement. Arrested by a team of mountain bikers from the police station because his rear number plate was “partially illegible”, the man refused to comply,
reveals The Parisian. At the end of a chase in the streets of the district, the driver hit a van and knocked over one of the police officers.

Known to the police for drug trafficking, without a driver’s license, he was taken out of his vehicle and handcuffed, details the daily. In his car, the police found bags of cannabis, 3,500 euros in small denominations and tear gas in the glove compartment.

“Attempted homicide”

He was taken into custody for “attempted murder of a person holding public authority”. This Thursday, he went before the Judicial Court of Paris. According to The Parisian, the facts were reclassified as “aggravated willful violence with ITT”. The brigadier, slightly injured was indeed sentenced to six days of ITT (total temporary interruption).
