The investigation has progressed. A 55-year-old woman was discovered on Friday killed with a stab in Armillac, in Lot-et-Garonne and her husband, arrested on Saturday and placed in police custody, will be presented to the Agen prosecutor’s office on Monday, a we learned this Sunday from a judicial source.
The man was arrested by the gendarmes in the Basque Country and he admitted during his police custody, “to be the author of the fatal act”, the same source said. The death of the victim dates back to a few days before the discovery of the body.
The accused will be “presented Monday morning to the prosecution for an opening of information on the count of voluntary homicide by spouse”, according to the same judicial source.
