A farmer with a cannon – through which you can shoot pumpkins

Watch the video: Unusual action – on this farm you can shoot pumpkins through a cannon.

Shoot differently:

Ross McGowan owns a cannon that he can use to shoot pumpkins across his family’s field.

The 24-year-old grows around 200,000 pumpkins a year on the farm.

If you want to shoot the pumpkins across the field yourself, you can try the cannon yourself.

During the Halloween season, anyone who wishes can shoot a pumpkin across the field for around €2.80.

You don’t just shoot across the field:

The family sets up skeletons and other spooky characters for visitors to meet.

But how does the cannon actually work?

“The cannon is air powered, allowing it to launch a 50cm gourd up to 182 meters across the field.” Ross to SWNS

Similar cannons are also on pumpkin farms in the United States.

First, Ross wants to order such a cannon from the USA, but it would have been too expensive.

So the Briton has the cannon made to order.

Especially in October, the farm attracts many visitors with the attraction – and inspires with its pumpkin cannon.
