This weekend, residents said goodbye to their doctor Jean-Noël Samson who closed his practice to assert his retirement rights, as reported West France. During his nine years of practice, the doctor will have seen heads pass since there were 14,491 patients to trust him.
“For my waiting room, despite the joyous turbulence initiated by a few naughty free riders, it was a model of good coexistence between people of different ages, origins, conditions and faiths and I thank you for that,” said he wrote in a farewell message posted on the door of his office.
Due to the lack of a replacement, the residents of the neighborhood will now have to find another treating doctor and that is already looking difficult.
