A couple has been indicted for murder and imprisoned, as part of the investigation that followed the discovery, on March 18, of the body of a sexagenarian. The victim was stabbed to death at his home in Lannoy, in the North, the judicial police announced on Friday.
The suspect, an “acquaintance” of the victim, was already known to the justice system, and he acknowledged the facts, said the judicial police of Lille, in charge of this investigation. His partner was indicted for complicity in murder. Both have been remanded in custody, the same source added.
