He was still in police custody this Wednesday morning according to the Toulouse prosecutor’s office. A middle school student, a 4th to college of Montesquieu de Cugnaux, south of Toulouse, was arrested in the middle of the afternoon in his establishment after attacking several members of the teaching team.
He was initially “very aggressive towards an educational assistant, before shoving two teachers and violently attacking a third”, indicates the academy of Toulouse, whose rector, Mostafa Fourar, condemned “strongly this unacceptable act of violence”. Warned, the gendarmes therefore intervened on the spot and the people attacked, for their part, filed a complaint.

While waiting to know the criminal proceedings that could be taken against the young schoolboy, he is already banned from school following an emergency precautionary measure taken against him on Tuesday. A disciplinary council is also planned to decide on his future within the college where a listening unit has been set up.
At the end of the 24 hours of his police custody, at the beginning of the afternoon, the justice will decide on the extension of his police custody or the legal follow-up to be given to this case of school violence.
