The images are impressive but the consequences only material. This Wednesday morning, shortly before 8 a.m., a fire broke out in a bus line 56, at the crossroads of Boulevard Ornano and Rue Ordoner, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. According to the Paris fire brigade, the driver and the four passengers had time to evacuate before the arrival of the firefighters. “This type of fire is impressive because the release of smoke is important but we did not encounter any specific difficulty”, specifies to 20 minutes a spokesperson for the BSPP.

According to the first elements, this fire was of accidental origin: the engine would have caught fire which would have caused these noises similar to “detonations” heard in the district. The carcass of the bus, completely charred, was evacuated in the morning to a warehouse of the RATP.
