After a 65-year-old truck driver suffered a heart attack on Autobahn 92 in Lower Bavaria, he died in hospital. In the incident, the 65-year-old left the truck near Gottfrieding (Dingolfing-Landau district) on Wednesday, a police spokesman said on Thursday. There he brushed several hundred meters along the central barrier and then came to a halt.
The crew of an ambulance that happened to be passing by provided first aid and took the man to a hospital. He died there shortly afterwards as a result of a heart attack. The Autobahn was closed for more than two hours in the direction of Munich.
