A 3-year-old girl injured by an attraction at Europa-Park

Walking with small children in a large amusement park is not always easy for parents… On Saturday, a 3-year-old girl escaped the vigilance of her parents for a few seconds, before being hit by a a small train at Europa-Park, in Rust, Germany, on the border with Alsace.

According to information from the Offenburg police and reported by France Blue Alsace, the three-year-old’s parents were waiting to ride the attraction when, the little girl rushed onto the track when the toy train arrived. Despite the triggering of the emergency braking system, the little girl was hit. Wounded in the side, she was evacuated by helicopter to the hospital.
