A 22-year-old man was indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention on Saturday, after the death of a thirty-year-old at his home, we learned at the Bourges courthouse (Cher).

This man suspected of having killed a resident on Thursday in Vierzon, was indicted “for murder preceded, accompanied or followed by acts of torture and barbarity” and placed in pre-trial detention, in Châteauroux, during the investigation. . His lawyer, Aurore Bonnetain, had pleaded for a judicial review.

The suspect is suspected of having beaten to death the 30-year-old victim who was found in cardiac arrest on Thursday when emergency services arrived. Despite their intervention, he could not be resuscitated. The suspect admitted to killing the victim, but not intentionally.
