The tragedy occurred this Monday morning near Mulhouse. A 19-year-old motorist lost her life after a violent head-on collision with a flatbed truck. The victim, seriously injured, had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Mulhouse firefighters before being evacuated in absolute emergency by the Smur to the Émile-Muller hospital in Mulhouse. The truck driver, a 61-year-old man, said France Blue Grand-Est is more lightly affected. He was taken to the same hospital. The young woman, our colleagues said this evening, ultimately died in hospital as a result of her injuries.
