It’s quite possible that Christian Lindner really wants to help. It is quite possible that he therefore sent a TV statement to the states that they should please give the property owners in the state a little more time before they have to submit their property tax returns. But it is also quite possible that the Federal Minister of Finance showed one thing above all in front of the Chancellery: free courage. Pretty sure it doesn’t make any difference – because Lindner’s push won’t solve the problem either.
