5 kg of cannabis seized at the home of the traffickers’ grandmother

In Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, in the Alpes-Maritimes, a search paid off this Saturday. Investigators found 5 kg of cannabis resin, but also 577 g of grass, 158 g of cocaine and 1,610 euros at the home of the grandmother of two suspects, reports nice morning.

Some time before the search, a young man had been arrested by a team from the intervention company. Drugs were found on him. Living with his grandmother, the investigators therefore went to the home.

The suspect explained that his brother held the role of nurse, the one who keeps the drugs while having his silence, for 200 € per week. The young man was released, while his brother was remanded in custody. He will be tried in September.
