34 sick crew members: a Brittany Ferries ship diverted to Brest

The Pont-Aven, one of the ships of the Breton company Brittany Ferries, was diverted to the port of Brest on Tuesday morning, while en route to Plymouth (United Kingdom).

To justify this decision, the Prefecture of Finistère explains that “34 crew members have presented symptoms suggesting food poisoning since last night”, before ensuring that “no passenger is concerned”.
