A 28-year-old young man died in a work accident this Thursday morning in the town of Acigné near Rennes, we learned from the firefighters. The tragedy occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. on the site of an agricultural equipment company. While he was in a basket, the worker was crushed by a metal structure. Despite the rapid intervention of emergency services, he could not be revived.
Gendarmes from the Rennes company and labor inspectors went to the site to make the first findings. They will be in charge of an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident. A psychological unit has also been set up within the company.
