28 arrests and more than 100 kg of drugs seized from supply companies

“Aiming at networks established in different areas of the northern districts of the city, these operations all had in common the targeting of people involved in supplying drug resale points,” specifies the Marseille prosecutor’s office.

In detail, investigators arrested 22 people “suspected of being involved in the drug trafficking network active in the city of Oliviers A”, after investigations started a year ago. During this operation launched on April 15, the police seized 48,000 euros of cash, 58 kg of hash, 12 kg of weed, 3.8 kg of cocaine and, in a new development, 370 grams “resembling to crack.” 135,000 euros of “luxury effects” were also confiscated.

Rebellion the next day and the day after that, April 16 and 17, with the arrest of five individuals, “four men and a woman, suspected of ensuring the supply of a narcotics resale point in the Campagne Lévêque city”. Nearly 32 kg of resin and 15 kg of cannabis herb were seized during this operation. They will be tried on May 28, and three of the defendants have been placed in pre-trial detention.

Finally, a 25-year-old man, suspected of supplying the drug resale point in the city of Bricarde, was indicted on Wednesday April 17 and placed in pre-trial detention, announced the Marseille prosecutor’s office. During his arrest and a search carried out in an apartment used by the network, investigators found 21.7 kg of cannabis resin, 3.3 kg of cocaine, as well as a little weed.
