In a small bedroom with built-in closet or that can accommodate a wardrobe, we strive to optimize the storage space available by focusing on carefully selected accessories.
Most decoration brands now offer freestanding structures. Some are specifically designed for small spaces. Their particularity is a reduced depth compared to the traditional dressing room: it then becomes possible to fully exploit the wall surface. You can thus arrange a global storage, on which to put the clothes, but also possibly your files or your books.

The first option is to exploit the ceiling – first ensuring that it can support a substantial weight. You can thus install an authentic wardrobe, just above your chest of drawers or your chest of drawers.
In the attic, of course we think of exploiting the under-slope to fit the wardrobe there!
The corner is another space that should not be lost in a small bedroom – especially since you can install a storage solution there to store your clothes. And if the place is already occupied by the radiator, we do not hesitate once again to gain height, by investing the space just above.
The challenge, in a small bedroom, is not only to have storage: it is also to circulate fluidly. To avoid incidents, we therefore always remember to take this parameter into account. Mirrors and clothes should not bother you or risk falling, and we therefore do not hesitate to secure them!
The bed: extra storage not to be overlooked
The bed of course remains the centerpiece of the bedroom – especially when it is of modest dimensions. It can be a very valuable extra solution for storing clothes!
