The Briton starts his journey on a Monday from London at 11:58 p.m.

From there he travels to Eijsden, a municipality in the south of the Netherlands.

Now his challenge begins.

It travels through Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Austria, Slovakia and ends in the town of Breclav in the Czech Republic.

He arrives there on Tuesday at 11:25 p.m.

“I had even hoped that I could travel through eleven countries within 24 hours, but a defective train in France prevented this.” – Jo ggü. SWNS

Originally, Hungary would otherwise have been on the traveller’s route as well.

Since his trip ends in the Czech Republic, he uses the time there to explore the capital, Prague.

“I wonder how many countries you can actually visit in 24 hours. This question offers potential for another challenge!” -Jo vs. SWNS
