James Bond is coming to Amazon in the form of a reality show. “007’s Road to a Million” is supposed to be a race around the world.

With the takeover of the film production company MGM, Amazon has secured the rights to the James Bond franchise. The streaming service Prime Video is according to a Variety report a reality format is now being planned that will revolve around the famous secret agent. “007’s Road to a Million” is said to be a race around the world.

The participants compete in teams of two for the main prize of one million British pounds. Well-known locations from the 007 films will serve as filming locations for the reality show. The tasks require intelligence, skill and perseverance from the candidates. The solution to the various tasks then leads to the next location.

Behind the production are the British production company 72 Films, Barbara Broccoli (61) and Michael G. Wilson (80) and MGM Television. The idea is said to have emerged more than three years ago. Filming is slated to begin later this year.
