ZDF founding director Holzamer: Prehistory in the Third Reich – media

ZDF founding director Karl Holzamer, the broadcaster reported in a detailed press release on Tuesday, denied his membership in the NSDAP and concealed the fact that he was also a member of the SA. Holzamer, who received his doctorate in 1929 with a thesis on the “concept of meaning”, who was a member of the Catholic Center before the war and of the CDU after the war, headed the institution from 1962 to 1977. In 2007 he is highly respected at the age of 100 died. A few years earlier, his former assistant and later successor Dieter Stolte had boasted that Holzamer had laid the “spiritual and moral foundation of ZDF”.
