Tens of thousands came to the “Zamm Risse” rally against right-wing extremists, much more than expected. The roots of the success are a real estate project – and the skill of the cabaret impresario Till Hofmann.
It all started with an exquisite building project on Munich’s Freedom called “L’arche de Munich”. This was realized in 2012 by the supposed luxury property developer “Goldgrund”. From there a straight line leads to the “Zamm Risse!” rally. This line explains how the demo organizers have now managed to mobilize tens of thousands of people to demonstrate against the far right and celebrate democracy.
