Over 4.5 million people: The thriller series “Your Honor” attracted the most viewers to the TV on Saturday evening.

The thriller series “Your Honor” (8:15 p.m., the first) was a complete success on German television on Saturday. 4.56 million people saw the first episode of the German-Austrian adaptation of an Israeli series, which corresponds to a market share of 16.4 percent. This was followed by episodes two to four.

On Sunday evening from 9:45 p.m., 3.48 million viewers tuned in to episodes five and six. The media library has already recorded a total of around 2.7 million hits, as the public broadcaster writes in a press release.

“Kvodo”, “Your Honor” or “Your Honor”

“Your Honor” is about a judge who breaks the law and his own moral standards out of love for his son. The miniseries was also well received by critics.

Screenplay and direction are by David Nawrath (42) and are based on the Israeli hit series “Kvodo”. This has already been adapted as a ten-part US crime series under the title “Your Honor” and starring Bryan Cranston (66) in the lead role of the judge.

The main roles in the new series are played by Sebastian Koch (59), Taddeo Kufus (23), Paula Beer (27), Sascha Gersak (46), Tobias Moretti (62) and Ursula Strauss (47). The six episodes are until August 1st available in the ARD media library.
