Young people handcuff a man – Bavaria

The police had to free a 34-year-old man from a pair of handcuffs on Tuesday evening in Kitzingen. He said two youths pretended to be police officers and handcuffed him, investigators said on Wednesday.

On Tuesday evening, the 34-year-old was in the rose garden in Kitzingen, Lower Franconia, when the two young people wanted to carry out an alleged police check on him. The man told police the youths wore blue tops with “Police” written on them. However, he immediately recognized that the approximately 17-year-old youths were not real police officers and resisted the control. The two then handcuffed him and ran away, the 34-year-old said, according to the police. The man was slightly injured.

The police are now looking for the two teenagers. They are being investigated for arrogance, dangerous bodily harm and coercion. The police had to open the handcuffs with bolt cutters.
