13-year-old Anni was struck by lightning. Completely confused by her feelings, she stares at the strange boy who sits early in the morning in the café where she gets coffee before school. She feels his looks, they won’t let her go. And the readers feel that too, because in her story “Fred und ich”, told as a diary, Lena Hach comes very close to the girl’s feelings with a concentrated language, condensing them to a special intensity.
