Intrigues for power, battles, sex, torture, fantasy… Ten years ago, on April 17, 2011, the television series began to be broadcast. Game Of Thrones on HBO, adapted from the literary saga Iron Throne by George RR Martin. In ten years, legions of fans have become passionate about this universe, to follow the fates of the nine Great Houses, to dream of dragons and to fear the White Walkers …

The television series was widely followed around the world, generating record audiences. In the United States alone, the last episode of the series was followed, live, by more than 19 million viewers. What passions, what shocks?

You told us about the characters, including the psychopath (and brilliant) Joffrey Baratheon, of the acting, of a crazy anecdote with Emilia Clarke, who plays the terrible Daenerys Targaryen, of the place of women in this series, of the shocks caused by the death of Ned Stark, or the “purple nuptials”, ups and downs, of the end of the series…

“Game of Thrones”, is this the end? HBO hopes to seduce fans of the “GoT” universe with several series projects, including one confirmed to date, “House of the Dragon”. This prequel, expected in 2022, will focus on House Targaryen, 300 years before the events of Robert Baratheon’s rebellion.
