Last Thursday, the Minister of Education, Gabriel Attal, announced that 25% of teachers had signed a pact. Figures which made some unionists react. “We know that in certain places, there is blackmail of the pact: if the teacher does not sign it, he will not be able to organize school outings,” denounced Sophie Venetitay, general secretary of SNES-FSU. In September, some teachers wishing to join the pact also anticipated bickering with their colleagues opposed to the system.
