Yfood and the drinking meal business – Economy

In the TV show “The Lion’s Den” it all seemed pretty cute. The Munich founders Noel Bollmann and Benjamin Kremer, then 25 and 28 years old, stood a little fidgety but confident in front of the investors and presented their drinking meal called “Yfood”. The two promised that the drink would keep you full for four hours and provide the most important nutrients. Juror Carsten Maschmeyer initially just said: “Well, I didn’t like it.” But the entrepreneur Frank Thelen jumped on the stuff. He invested 200,000 euros and received 20 percent of the start-up in return.
