This viral video begs the question: is that a… dog? The video on the social media platform TikTok is currently doing the rounds. The video from the “AppaTheAlabai” channel has already received 10.3 million clicks. In the video with the caption: “Is the front door a good comparison?”, the dog impressively shows how big it is. The owner holds a treat in his hand, obviously not a problem for the dog. Once on the hind paws and the little snack is already within reach. Comments ranged from astonishment to disbelief, with one user writing, “Sorry, but YOU are his pet.” The dog is a Central Asian Ovcharka, or “Alabai,” a herding breed native to Central Asia. The bizarre thing about this video: The dog is said to be only 13 months old.
