A teenager is said to have shot a classmate of the same age in Lohr am Main, according to the public prosecutor’s office, out of a fascination with the American serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. The defense considers these to be “mere rumors.”
Jeffrey Dahmer killed seventeen young men, mostly black and gay, between 1978 and 1991. He ate some of them, which gave him his name Cannibal of Milwaukee brought in. Dahmer has been world-famous since the streaming service Netflix released a documentary series about the American serial killer in autumn 2022. Many viewers found what they saw disturbing and shocking. For quite a few people, the “monster,” as Netflix called the man in the title, also sparked something like fascination.
