Würmtal – colorful cultural program in autumn – district of Munich

Internationally acclaimed musicians, popular cabaret stars, four guest theaters – the cultural offerings of the Kulturforum Planeggs with the Kupferhaus as the event location pick up speed again in autumn after a long break. The sale of subscriptions for the new season starts next Monday, July 5th, the sale of single tickets on Tuesday, July 12th.

One of the greats of the German-language cabaret scene is making its way to Planegg in October: Josef Hader will be performing at the Kupferhaus on October 13th. The Austrian cabaret artist is dishing up his program “Hader on Ice” – if you want to see it, you have to be quick, advance sales have been going on for a long time and there are only a few tickets left. If you can’t get a ticket, you can console yourself with the no less popular longest-serving girl group in Bavaria: “It’ll be fine again” is the name of the Wellkuren show on November 16th.

Andreas Rebers, Amelie Diana and Andreas Bittl as well as Maxi Schafroth will also be on stage this season. One of the highlights in the children’s program also attracts adults: Doctor Döblinger’s tasteful Kasperltheater comes to Planegg with two programs and four performances in the new year, on January 21 and 22, 2023.

First the Elbphilharmonie, the Scala in Milan and the Salzburg Festival, then the Kupferhaus Planegg – this is what characterizes the renowned musicians who perform the classical program with five concerts. Chamber music from three centuries can be heard, but also 100 percussion instruments and experts in early music. Among others, the Hamburg Wind Quintet (November 18), Elbtonal Percussion (January 27) and the baroque ensemble The Gentleman’s Band (April 28) will perform. There are also concerts in all genres: jazz, gospels and arranged chart hits can be heard.

The Lehman Brothers, Shakespeare’s Winter’s Tale or a Molières comedy create the guest theater programme. A 20-minute introduction is scheduled before each performance, in which dramaturges, directors or actors have their say. The complete program booklet is distributed to Würmtal households and is also available at www.kulturforum-planegg.de to find. Subscriptions can be purchased via the website, single tickets via the town hall or the advance booking offices of München Ticket.
