Sophie Kinsella describes her diagnosis as follows: “At the end of 2022, I was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a form of aggressive brain cancer. I didn’t share this earlier because I wanted to make sure my children heard and processed the news calmly and adapted to ours “We can get used to the new normal.”

Kinsella goes on to say that she is currently being treated at University College Hospital in London and is undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy, which has not yet been completed.
