Wreath under the swastika – Bavaria

Hermann Kriebel was a Nazi from the very beginning and, as an early confidant of Adolf Hitler and a leading participant in his march to the Munich Feldherrnhalle in 1923, spent a year with Hitler in Landsberg prison. The steel helmet with the imperial eagle is still emblazoned on the grave of Kriebel, who died in 1941, in the cemetery of the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau, but the swastika, which the imperial eagle held in its claws, was removed a few weeks ago. The wreath that was laid at the grave in February shows how much too late this happened.
