Wormhole Hacker Moves $155 Million From Stealing to different DeFi protocols

Hackers behind $321 million Wormhole bridge attack have large sums of stolen funds transferred Transaction data shows that $155 million worth of Ether was transferred to the decentralized exchange (DEX) on Jan. 23.

The Wormhole hack is the third largest crypto hack of 2022 after the protocol’s token bridge suffered a hit on February 2, 2022 that resulted in the loss of 120,000 Wrapped ETH (wETH) worth. about 321 million dollars

followhistoryTransactions of wallets believed to belong to hackers were found. Recent activity saw 95,630 ETH transferred to OpenOcean DEX and then converted to Lido Finance’s stETH and wrapped staked (wstETH).

Crypto community members like @spreekaway also highlighted the hacker’s seemingly bizarre transactions.borrow 13 million worth of DAI before swapping into additional stETH, then wrapping into stETH again and borrowing more DAI.
