For Mariana Ortino, football lunchtimes and afternoons have always looked the same over the past few weeks: the 52-year-old sat with her family in the living room of her three-room apartment in Buenos Aires, daughter, brother-in-law, brother and husband, each always on exactly the same Place. The games of the Argentine national team were flickering on the TV and there was one on the table picada, an Argentinian snack, with olives, bread, salami and cheese. “Always the same brand, always on the same plate,” says Mariana: “Without exception.”
