Severe weather: Stadium competitions also start later

The first World Cup competitions in the Budapest Athletics Stadium are also delayed due to a storm. Actually, the preliminary fights should start at 10.30 a.m., but now the start is planned for 11.30 a.m. due to heavy rain, as the organizers announced.
The evening event, which is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. with the official opening of the World Cup, will start on time according to the current status. Due to the storm, the start of the men’s 20-kilometer walk had already been postponed by two hours to 10:50 a.m.
