A steering group in Zorneding wants to work out ideas and suggestions for improving the traffic concept in the community together with the citizens as part of a “citizens’ workshop”. The event will take place on Saturday, September 17, from 10 a.m. in the Martinstadl. After the welcome by Mayor Piet Mayr (CSU) and the presentation of the traffic report, topics such as pedestrian/bicycle traffic, flowing traffic, public transport or innovative approaches will be discussed in discussion rounds at different tables. Participants can switch tables during the event and have their say on one or more topics. The aim of the workshop is to improve the local traffic situation, which should be designed to be equally satisfactory for families, professionals, seniors and other groups.
