Woodruff, hydrangea, sage: Two experts on the intoxication from the garden

Everyone talks about cannabis – the artist Kat Menschik and the psychiatrist Jakob Hein also about normal garden plants. A conversation about the intoxication from the bed.

Ms. Menschik, do you grow psychoactive plants in your garden?
Kat Menschik: Sage, for example, and woodruff.

Sage is considered an anti-inflammatory medicinal plant.
Jakob Hein: But there is also the so-called Aztec sage, which falls under the Narcotics Act because its psychoactive resins cause very strong hallucinations. This Salvia divinorum is a “non-marketable narcotic” for us.
