The soccer players from champions Bayern Munich took over the table lead again on the seventh matchday of the Bundesliga. FC Bayern prevailed at SGS Essen 2: 1 (1: 1) and replaced VfL Wolfsburg at the top. The Lower Saxons had won 3-2 against Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday after falling behind. Klara Bühl (7th) and Serbian Jovana Damjanovic (51st) were successful for the Munich women. Maike Berentzen (14th) had meanwhile equalized. FC Bayern have 18 points in first place, followed by Wolfsburg with 16 points.
