Women in Leadership: Mentoring Program for Executives – Careers

Claire Dugan has already had a meteoric career. After three years as a tax consultant in her native New Zealand, the 36-year-old enrolled at a German university in economics. After completing his studies, he worked for Skateistan, a non-governmental organization that works to educate children around the world. Dugan is now deputy managing director of the organization and has launched projects in Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Mozambique and Iran from Berlin. In order to do justice to her leadership position, however, she was drawn back to university after ten years in the profession. Her goal: the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). A decision that she would not have been able to implement without the financial support of the European School of Management and Technology, ESMT for short. “Without the scholarship, I definitely would not have been able to afford the tuition fees of almost 60,000 euros,” emphasizes Dugan.
