The Ille-et-Vilaine firefighters intervened on Saturday for a burned-out vehicle found on the emergency lane of the four-lane between Saint-Malo and Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) near Pleugueneuc. Inside, firefighters found the lifeless body of a woman, whose formal identification has not yet been confirmed. “We are awaiting this autopsy for formal identification of the body”, specifies the prosecutor of the Republic of Saint-Malo Christine Le Crom.

This autopsy should be performed on Tuesday, after a scan scheduled for Monday afternoon. The identification will confirm whether it is the owner of the vehicle, a woman residing in Saint Malo. The gendarmes carried out observations on the spot to find out the reasons for the death. “The vehicle was not damaged. The first investigations could point towards a suicide ”, continues the magistrate.
