Woman starts swapping experiment with hairpins, now she has a tiny house

See in the video: Woman starts swapping experiment with a small hairpin – now she has her own tiny house.

It started out as a pastime during a lockdown. Demi Skipper is now the proud owner of her own house, but all she gave was a hairpin.
But first things first: the story is simple. Skipper was inspired by a Canadian who traded a red paper clip for a house.
So she started pursuing her own dream of a house on TikTok …
She started swapping.
She exchanged her hairpin for a pair of ear studs, which in turn for a set of glasses.
She made 28 barter deals. From glasses to a vacuum cleaner to a snowboard, a MacBook, a camera, many pairs of sneakers, several cars, an old tractor, and finally a card with which you can eat as many burritos as you want in a restaurant for a year.
At that moment, her barter deal was discovered by a Canadian woman who swapped the burrito offer for her solar powered camping trailer. Demi already had 5 million followers. Finally, Skipper was the proud owner of a home in Tennessee.
The young woman is currently renovating the tiny house. But the project wasn’t about ownership. She just wanted to find out if it was possible to trade a hairpin for a house. When she finishes her renovation, she’ll trade the house again, you guessed it – for a hairpin.
