A ten-year-old was hit by a car in Lower Franconia and injured. Because another child remembered the number plate, the investigators found the fugitive driver, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
Accordingly, the boy crossed a street in Volkach (Kitzingen district) on Friday together with other children. At that moment, the 18-year-old driver turned into the street and hit the ten-year-old at low speed. After taking care of the boy briefly, she drove away. The slightly injured boy then went home and was then taken to a clinic. The 18-year-old has to answer for negligent bodily harm and removal from the scene of the accident.
