A 43-year-old woman, living in Voiron (Isère) was severely burned after being raped by two men with whom she had just spent the evening, we learn from the Grenoble prosecutor’s office, confirming information from the Dauphiné Liberated. The victim was rushed to the hospital for severe burns in Lyon on Wednesday morning.
An investigation was opened for “rape accompanied by torture or acts of barbarism” and entrusted to the PJ of Grenoble, specifies the prosecution.
Sprayed with hydroalcoholic gel
The forty-something was sprayed with hydroalcoholic gel by her two attackers who then set the product on fire and fled. She was burned on 30% of the body, reveals the regional daily. Lying on the floor of her apartment, she was conscious when help arrived, called around 4 a.m.
Investigators have not, for the moment, been able to determine with precision the course of the evening since the victim has not yet been heard.
